I successfully completed the Postdoctoral Study Program specializing in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at The Postdoctoral Institute at Nova Southeastern University.

Prior to graduation, I was a clinician at the Nova Mental Health Clinic and spent several years in training and treating patients in the Dual Diagnosis Clinic, Program for the Seriously Emotionally Disturbed, and the Intensive Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Clinic.

My internship was completed at Broward General Medical Center, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where I was a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Treatment was provided to patients with health problems and the psychological aspects of dealing with illness and pain. Other areas of specialized treatment and training included: health psychology, substance abuse, hypnotherapy, life meaning and psychological wellness issues, couples, marriage and family therapy, anxiety disorders, depression, neurological disorders, major mental disorders, and psychological testing. All education was accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Post Doctoral Fellowship was spent treating adolescents thru adults in a general psychology clinical practice. In addition, I treated patients at a skilled nursing facility where privileges were granted.

I am currently a member of the American Psychological Association, the Florida Psychological Association, and a Certified Health Care Provider with the Florida Division of Worker's Compensation.
